Meet The Midwestern Lesbians!
Hello there! I'm Kelsey, and I launched Midwestern Lesbian in 2021 with the vision of establishing a platform for the LGBTQ+ community to discover events, businesses, groups, and more that are geared towards them. I came out as lesbian in 2014, at the age of 20, and have always had a deep affinity for queer culture. Yet, it's always been a challenge to find opportunities to engage with LGBTQ+ interests in the Midwest. I’ve lived in Cincinnati my whole life, and I’ve always loved it. This city holds many hidden treasures, and I'm eager to introduce queer folx to all the wonderful experiences we have to offer! Midwestern Lesbian is here to highlight safe and friendly events for the LGBTQ+ community and offer easy access to the knowledge of when and where those events are held. I hope Midwestern Lesbian is there for anyone at any step of their journey!
Caitlin joined Midwestern Lesbian when her and I started dating in 2023! She is an incredibly talented photographer who has been perfecting her art for over 10 years! Caitlin does all of the photography for Midwestern Lesbian, helps curate Midwestern Lesbian and Cincy Gay Agenda events, and brightens up every room she walks into. Through her creativity, vision and determination, Caitlin has quickly made Midwestern Lesbian larger than what it has ever been. I am truly thankful to have her be a part of Midwestern Lesbian.
